Greetings from Mozambique!!! This is just to inform you and the rest of our confreres in the Afram Zone about our situation in Mozambique. The government had just passed a law raising to more than a thousand per cent the cost of Visa renewal. Before, we used to pay only about two thousand meticals for visa renewal, that is for a one-year visa. but now, we are obliged to pay twenty four thousand (24,000.00 ) for those who have been staying here in the past less than five years. for those who have been staying here the past five years, they are to pay 30,000.00 meticals. This is a predicament that we have at the moment, a problem that affects badly all missionaries and the local church in particular. we ask for your prayers that this will be given solution through the efforts of our church authorities and the government.
