Car accident

I was actually going for the annual retreat as participant. Early morning, on our way to Ngondi, our spiritual retreat house 350 kilometers from Kinshasa, the Provincial Bernard Ilunga and 4 passengers with him had an accident. The Provincial was driving. The tire exploded and the Land Rover Jeep lost control. While it was winding on the road the "arbre de transmission" was detached. The Jeep turned turtle twice. Since our Jeep was older than that of the Provincial I was driving more slowly so we were able to see result of

the accident. Nobody died fortunately, only minor bruises. So I stopped and drove the bruised confreres to the nearby clinique.

Tomorrow we will still go to the hospital for radiography to see of there is really nothing.

After having seen the accident of 26 September and again this accident I feel a bit "tired". Nevertheless I thank God that the worse did not happen.
