RECOMMENDATION

AFRAM Biblical Coordinators Meeting, Nsawam, Ghana, October, 2006

1. We recommend that the Area Coordinator for BPM contact Verbum Bible to prepare a basic manual of BPM for all Christian communities. This manual is to be produced in English, French and Portuguese. We propose to have this manual by 2008.
2. We recommend that Formation teams together with coordinators of the four characteristic dimensions promote training relating to these dimensions in both initial and ongoing formation.
3. We recommend that all confreres promote an attentive reading of Scripture as the living Word of God taking into consideration the reactions of the listeners.”
4. We recommend that AFRAM Provincial/Regional treasurers look into the possibility of investing on affordable Bibles for our zone.
5. We recommend that Provincials/Regionals give clear job descriptions to all confreres appointed as coordinators at the various levels in the Province/Region. It should be stressed that the coordinator has an ad intra responsibility.
6. We commit ourselves to networking and sharing of materials.
